Subscriptions round 1 - max capacity!

Subscriptions round 1 - max capacity!
So we’re officially maxed out on subscription capacity. What does this mean?

It means we have a lot of work to do and the stakes are high. The moment is absolutely NOW to prove what we’re really made of.

The pictures you see on this post were mostly taken about 2 years ago during the week I decided to fully commit to this idea of starting my own shoe company. I had some savings from the sell of my hotdog restaurant, was living with my grandfather, working as a bicycle mechanic at Souther Bicycle Co., playing acoustic lounge music as a night job, and training for my first sub-3 marathon attempt. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, but committed fully.

Today, I am sitting in a warehouse with enough shoes to service the first round of subscriptions we HOPED to obtain by the end of the year. We did it in a few hours.

Now that we’ve maxed out our initial offering, I’ve gone ahead and doubled down on the risk. Around December, there will be sufficient inventory to offer at least 3X-4X subscriptions in the “money sizes” as we call them. With this investment comes the risk… we’re throwing it all on the table.

Among other ways of generating the funding for us to pay for the increase in inventory we just ordered, we’re going to pre-sale the race shoe at the right time. Goal: unlimited quantities for anybody who wants to reserve one. Theres also the option to carmax my truck and ride around on Rory’s scooter. It goes 75mph. However, I think everybody would prefer a badass racing shoe instead.

Thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for being a part of this with us. Thank you for taking a chance on us. Thank you for the endless amount of kind correspondence. Thank you for giving me the ability to generate the much needed self esteem required to absofuckinglutely dominate this entry into the market.

I won’t stop if you guys won’t stop.

Always with love and honesty,

_michael
